Joshua Colon, known as Yushin on Twitch, needed a custom logo and brand identity to represent his gaming and martial arts passion. The goal was to create a striking design that would stand out on Twitch while also tying back to his martial arts background.

My Role:
Logo design and complete branding suite — I crafted the logo, business cards, Twitch panels, and a Twitch banner, all with the intention of building a cohesive identity for Yushin’s streaming brand.

The Concept:
Inspired by his background as a martial arts instructor, I used the Japanese 3017 typeface to create a unique connection to his martial arts roots. I merged the initials "JC" into a karate pose design to symbolize strength and discipline. A circular element was added to represent focus and balance. The bold, dynamic design fits well with his energetic streaming persona.

Color Palette:
Red: Symbolizing energy, strength, and passion.
Navy Blue: Representing stability, reliability, and professionalism.
White: To create contrast and keep the design clean and impactful.
Brand Assets:
Business Cards: Clean, minimalist design showcasing the logo and contact details.
Twitch Panels: Designed to match the brand's bold aesthetic, giving consistency across his channel.
Twitch Banner: Complementary to the logo, creating a strong, recognizable visual presence on his channel.
Final Design:
The JC initials designed to mimic a karate pose.

Dynamic, balanced layout that translates well across streaming, social media, and merchandise.
Reflection:
This was a really fun project to work on, especially blending martial arts culture with Yushin’s Twitch identity. Seeing the logo and brand assets come together in various forms across his Twitch channel and social media has been a rewarding experience.
